Autoradiographic examination of the organ distribution of 14C-labelled pentamidine in rats after intravenous and inhalative administration
Medizinische Klinik 85(Suppl. 2): 236-244
The organ distribution of 14C pentamidine, following intravenous application or inhalation, was studied in Sprague Dawley rats by whole-body autoradiography. The distribution of the labelled drug was measured 30 minutes, 6 h, 24 h and 7 days after intravenous administration of 5 mg/kg bwt. For aerosolized pentamidine, at 1.4 mg/kg bwt, distribution was measured at 30 minutes and 24 h.
