Drosicha dalbergia overwintered as a first instar nymph in the rhizosphere of almond trees and resumed activity in the subsequent year during March-April in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The nymph ascended the host plant and clustered in the axil of twigs, cracks/crevices in numbers ranging from 10-50. In the laboratory, the bug passed through five nymphal instars with the overwintering first instar occupying 170-180 days.
