The pseudococcid Drosicha dalbergiae was observed feeding on almond trees in Kashmir, India, during 1986. This pest fed on both the aerial and underground parts of the plant. Overwintered nymphs migrated to aerial parts of the plant in April and were found on the roots up to a depth of 69 cm in March.
