Assessment of biological value, digestibility coefficient and net protein utilization of casein and groundnut protein

This study was conducted to assess the quality of different protein in the diets containing casein and groundnut. Nine Albino rats were divided into three groups: group 1, rats fed with casein diet; group 2, rats fed with groundnut and group 3, rats fed with protein free diet to evaluate the digestibility coefficient, biological value and net protein utilization.
