Use of benzetimide (Spasmentral) in infectious and nutritional diarrhoea of cattle
Tierärztliche Umschau 44(1): 36-45
This acetylcholine antagonist, both on its own and in association with electrolyte or antibiotic treatment, was used in 501 incidents of diarrhoea in cattle, chiefly those in which an aetiological diagnosis could be made. Success of the treatment ranged from 91.4 to 100%. In comparable control groups treated without benzetimide only 61% success was obtained.
