Spatio-temporal relationships between Psylliodes chrysocephala (cabbage stem flea beetle) larvae and predatory carabid beetles in a crop of winter oilseed rape
Antenna 25(1): 58-60
The spatio-temporal distributions of adult female P. chrysocephala, infestation of oilseed rape by the pest, and Carabidae active on the soil surface were investigated in the UK. Colonization of the crop by adult P. chrysocephala was not uniform. The majority of adults entered the crop from one edge before dispersing into central areas. Most larvae were present in central parts of the crop, suggesting that this was the main area of oviposition.
