The effects of SO2 and NOx from flue gases on some chemical properties of light soil were studied in a pot experiment with spring wheat, comparing 3 variants of nitrogen fertilization (ammonium nitrate, byproduct of desulphurization and denitrogenization of flue gases, and the mixture of ammonium sulphate and ammonium nitrate, the ratio of which was the same as in the byproduct). Each fertilizer was applied at 3 doses (0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 g N pot-1).
