Productivity and metabolism of substances in fattening young pigs on diets varying in protein, lysine and trace elements

Young pigs were fattened with diets containing different amounts of protein, lysine and trace elements. Best results for metabolism and bodyweight gain were obtained with the diets containing protein 17 and lysine 0.73% at bodyweights 25 to 45 kg, 15.5 and 0.65% at 45 to 70 kg, and 14.0 and 0.50% at 70 to 100 kg.
