It has been shown in previous papers by Longcope, O'Brien and Perlzweig that two proteins, precipitating out of colloidal solutions at different iso-electric points, can be isolated from crude extracts of horse dander; and that these proteins act as antigens in guineα-pigs and can be sharply differentiated biologically by anaphylactic reactions. The following observations deal with skin reactions obtained with these various proteins of horse dander in patients allergic to horse emanations.
