In a digestibility trial, four male Landrace pigs of an average body weight of about 40 kg, were randomly allotted to one of four dietary treatments in a 4 x 4 Latin square experimental design. The four diets used were isonitrogenous, containing 4 and 8% dry tomato pulp with or without enzymes. Digestibility of dry matter and of crude fibre was significantly reduced by the addition of 8% tomato pulp in the diet, compared with 4%.
