Polystomoides ludhianae n.sp. from the urinary bladder of Kachuga tectum and K. smithi at Ludhiana, India, differs from the 13 other species of the genus in having a larger body, simple undiverticulate intestine, in the shape of the haptoral hooks and ovary, shape and position of the testis, number of hooks in the genital coronet, position of the vagina, extent of the vitellaria and size of the eggs.
