Bordetella bronchiseptica from a diseased pig was used in doses of 1.8X106 to inoculate nine 5-day-old rabbits intranasally. Ten 6-day-olds were similarly inoculated with B. bronchiseptica derived from a healthy rabbit. All the animals were killed after 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks or 4 weeks.
