Nasal lesions and Alcaligenes bronchisepticus infection in swine atrophic rhinitis

In pigs with atrophic rhinitis, histological changes in the turbinate bones were related to stages of infection of the mucosa with Alcaligenes bronchisepticus (Bordetella bronchiseptica). During acute infection the main change was a resorption and rarefaction of bone.
